How We Work

RUTI works in five stages: Align, Diagnose, Design, Execute and Sustain. Each stage has a clear purpose and a clear output, so you always know where the work stands and what it is meant to deliver. The logic is familiar from medicine: diagnose before you treat, and follow up to make sure the improvement holds.

  1. Align

Clarify priorities, outcomes, stakeholders and operating context.

We start with what matters most to the business: the outcomes you need, who is accountable for them, and the conditions the work has to operate in. Without this, effort goes into the wrong problems.

You leave with: an agreed definition of success and how it will be measured.

  2. Diagnose

Understand processes, performance, data, constraints and root causes.

We look at how work actually runs, not just how it is documented. That means process walkthroughs, performance data and conversations with the people closest to the work. The aim is to find the causes behind cost, delay and rework before recommending anything.

You leave with: an evidence-based picture of where performance is being lost.

  3. Design

Develop practical changes across process, people, governance and technology.

We design changes your organization can realistically adopt. Process, roles, controls and tools are designed together, so fixing one problem does not create another. Each change is tied to the outcome it is meant to improve.

You leave with: a prioritized plan, named owners and the measures that will show progress.

  4. Execute

Translate recommendations into accountable action and measurable implementation.

We help put the plan into practice with clear owners, realistic timelines and regular progress checks. Early results are tracked against the measures set in Align, so you can see what is working and adjust quickly.

You leave with: changes that are running, not just recommended.

  5. Sustain

Standardize improved practices, establish governance and build internal capability.

We make the improvements stick. Standards are documented, ownership is assigned, review routines are set, and your teams are coached to run and extend the work themselves. This protects the investment, so gains in cost and cycle time hold after the engagement ends.

You leave with: practices that continue without us.

Common questions

Do we need to go through all five stages?

No. Some organizations need only a diagnostic. Others already have a plan and need help executing it. We confirm where to start and what is in scope at the beginning of the work.

How is progress measured?

Measures are agreed in Align and tracked through Execute and Sustain. They are stated in business terms such as cost, cycle time, rework and capacity, so progress is visible to leadership, not just to the project team.
